Simple Chocolate Pudding Ingredients
4 Teaspoons Golden Harvest Cornstarch 2 Cups Whole Milk 1/2 Cup Sugar 3 large egg yolks 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 3/4 Cup Whipping Cream
Directions 1. In a pan, put 1 cup of whole milk, sugar, and cocoa. Simmer over medium-high heat. Remove from the heat afterwards. 2. Meanwhile, whisk the remaining cup of the whole milk, salt, vanilla, egg yolks, and Golden Harvest Cornstarch in a bowl. Gradually add the hot milk into the egg mixture while whisking. 3. Return to the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium-high heat. Constantly whisk until the pudding comes to a full boil then reduce the heat to maintain a simmer. Continue whisking until it thickens. 4. Pour the pudding into 6 small cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. 5. Before serving, pour the chilled cream into a bowl. Whip the cream with a whisk or a hand held mixer, and continue beating until soft peaks form. 6. Serve the chocolate pudding with whipped cream on top.
